I started this business in 2000 as a one-man welding shop that I operated from my garage. My primary business was trailers, farm equipment, and miscellaneous small projects.

In 2015, I moved into a 6,000 square foot facility where I worked alone and mostly fabricated handrails and gates. Since moving into the new facility and being incorporated in 2022 as Lawhon Welding and Fabrication LLC, we have gained a reputation as one of the top metal cutters in South Carolina and are able to serve different companies throughout the state.

We have been in the business for over 25 years, and we are committed to providing high quality services and competitive pricing to our customers. We are fully insured. We provide waterjet cutting which helps with more complex jobs, along with plasma CNC cutting, plate rolling, press brake forming, and steel, aluminum, and stainless steel welding. Our shop also handles custom fabrication, trailer repair, and structural work.
